Michael OsterPresident was with Cisco Systems Canada until December 2010 as National Director, Public Sector Business Development. In this role he led Cisco Canada’s vision, strategy and execution for the Education and Government vertical markets and related Community priorities, and contributed to Cisco’s worldwide Corporate strategy. Michael’s focus on the Education Vertical enabled Cisco Canada to achieve record market share, growth and customer success in Education.

Michael is a former Director of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, the Ottawa Community Loan Fund, and the High Performance Computing Virtual Laboratory (HPCVL), a consortium of Canadian Universities. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, an active Community volunteer (e.g. Sustainable Living Ottawa East), and is frequently asked to advise entrepreneurs.

Mark Cawley – Director of Lending Operations is a certified management consultant.  Prior to that, he spent thirty years working in a variety of service industries and consultancies in the UK, including an advertising agency, a new product development consultancy, a strategy management consultancy and a company designing and implementing employee stock option plans, as well as working as an independent consultant for thirteen years.  He holds a masters degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) at Fontainebleau in France.  He is a fellow of the (UK) Institute of Business Advisors and an accredited associate of the Institute of Independent Business.
